Dr. Malone is internationally known as an expert in vaccine technology, virology, vaccine production, and clinical development. Dr. Malone holds numerous domestic and foreign patents, and was awarded the initial patents for the discoveries of direct (Naked) DNA delivery, DNA vaccine technologies, and mucosal genetic vaccination. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed publications, organized or served as an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences, and has served as reviewer or chairperson on more than 15 federal study sections. His extensive research and development experience in the areas of clinical trials, vaccines, gene therapy, bio-defense, and immunology is testament to this well-deserved praise. Dr. Malone is uniquely qualified to bridge innovative new vaccine and immunotherapy discoveries to clinical development, licensure, and commercialization.
Prior to joining WCCT Global Dr. Malone was principal partner with his wife, Jill Glasspool Malone, PhD in their well-known consulting firm which provided innovative solutions for business to business and business to government clinical development projects.
