Dr. Kenneth Kim gave a presentation entitled “HPA Axis Effects of Mometasone Furoate/Formoterol (MF/F) Versus Fluticasone Propionate/Salmeterol (FP/S) Administered via Metered-Dose Inhaler (MDI)” at the CHEST 2012 Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia on October 22, 2012. This study was conducted to compare effects of inhaled corticosteroids mometasone furoate (MF) and fluticasone propionate (FP) on the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis when administered from combination MDI products in patients with asthma.
