Clinical Study Rescue Program Implemented by WCCT Global

COSTA MESA, Calif., April 12, 2013/PRWeb/–WCCT Global, a contract research organization headquartered in Southern California, announced today that due to the recent closing of a large CRO, WCCT Global has established a clinical study rescue plan to complete clinical trials that may have been not finished at the closed site. VP of Business Development, Talia Nikolao stated, “Putting together a program-specific clinical study rescue plan is extremely important. WCCT has successfully rescued several programs in the last two years, and we know the importance of being able to scale quickly and assess the availability of existing study data to determine the exact ‘level’ of rescue needed. We have a strategy to assess programs, make recommendations to Sponsors, and collaborate throughout to ensure successful transition of the programs with as minimal negative impact as possible.”

When implementing a clinical study rescue plan, WCCT Global reviews every element of the program to see exactly what data is missing from the trial(s), and then makes a custom plan of action to expedite the completion of the program. This plan can be implemented for any andall trials across a variety of therapeutic areas, due to WCCT’s diverse areas of therapeutic experience. This new plan allows WCCT Global to prioritize the rescue effort and respond quickly to Sponsor’s needs, with minimal setbacks in lost time, resources, and data collection.
