Large Asian Bridging Study
An open-label, single dose, single-treatment study, enrolling 185 healthy Asian & Caucasian subjects over an 11 week period as a single site. This study included a Chinese cohort of 30 subjects, a Japanese cohort of 30 subjects, and Korean cohort of 30 subjects, as well as cohorts of 25-30 for the following ethnic groups: Filipino, Vietnamese, Asian Islander.
Longest Confinement Period
A single-blind, randomized, four-way crossover 29-day in-patient confinement study, enrolling 48 healthy subjects in 2.5 weeks, with 47 subjects completing.
Rapidly Enrolled Hemodialysis Study
A randomized, single-crossover, single dose, multi-center study, enrolling 7 ESRD patients on hemodialysis in a 3 week period.
Intense PK Sampling Interval Period
A randomized, double-blind, single IV dose, two-way crossover, single center study, enrolling 20 subjects as one cohort over a 2 week period. Subjects were required to undergo serial PK blood draws in 30-second intervals (this was for the initial 2-3 minute sampling period, then the blood draw interval was lengthened.
Large Platelet Aggregation Study
A double-blind, single and multiple ascending dose study in 120 Japanese and Caucasian healthy subjects which included platelet aggregometry for serial Pharmacodynamic Assessments.
Pediatric Allergic Rhinitis/Cough/Cold Studies
WCCT has completed three different pediatric (2-11 y.o) allergic rhinitis/cough/cold studies (medication used to treat symptoms of each of these respiratory illnesses), enrolling 36 patients in each study within 6 weeks or less.
