Kenneth T. Kim, MD: CEO

Dr. Kim is the founder and CEO of West Coast Clinical Trials, LLC (now WCCT Global). He has been a principal or sub-investigator or safety medical officer in over 400 phase 1 trials and worked as a consultant to Pharma and regulators worldwide on drug development and study design strategies in the areas of ethnobridging, cardiac safety, and pediatric trial study programs. Dr. Kim completed his undergraduate and medical training at Harvard University, and his internal medicine and allergy/immunology fellowship at UCLA . He is board certified in both internal medicine and allergy/immunology and is on the clinical faculty at UCLA.
Jon Rojas, Chief Operating Officer
- 12+ years of Clinical Research experience (having conducted over 1,500 trials) in the CRO industry
- Strong experience in QTc trials having managed over 100 thorough QTc trials
- Graduate of UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine Center for Pre-Hospital Training
Mr. Rojas has over 12 years of clinical research experience (having conducted over 1500 trials) in the CRO industry.
Prior to joining West Coast Clinical Trials, LLC (WCCT), Mr. Rojas served as Sr. Vice President of Clinical Services & Support at OmniComm. In his role there, he managed global teams that designed, implemented and supported all of the clinical trial management (EDC) systems. In addition, part of his responsibilities included expanding global project management as Vice President of Project Management. Prior to working for OmniComm, Mr. Rojas was Executive Director of Clinical Operations at SFBC International (now doing business as PharmaNet Development Group, Inc.). Mr. Rojas was responsible for managing a 500+ bed clinical research unit with over 700 employees. In addition to clinical operations; Mr. Rojas implemented project management, clinical trial management, clinical trial monitoring, SOP and training functions. Mr. Rojas was also the clinical operations manager of a 50 bed QTc specialty unit which performed over a 100 QTc trials.
Mr. Rojas has delivered a multitude of educational presentations at key industry meetings such as DIA, EDC & Beyond and ACRP.
